Mars信州釀酒廠位於長野縣中央阿爾卑斯山 Kisokoma 山腳下、海拔 798 米的高地。這裡被美麗的綠林環繞，四季空氣清新充沛。

1985 年，本坊酒造為了實現「有一天能最大限度地利用日本氣候，製造出真正優質威士忌」的夢想，在此建立了 Mars 信州釀酒廠，利用清冽的阿爾卑斯花崗岩花崗水源，打造獨具風味的日本威士忌。
