格蘭菲迪(Glenfiddich)推出了實驗系列第五版─「果園實驗(Orchard Experiment) 」，本次創新的使用了加烈蘋果酒桶(或稱蘋果利口酒)過桶。

這款威士忌最初是在美國橡木桶中熟成，再轉移到加烈蘋果酒桶過桶約4-6個月的時間。

也許相似的蘋果桶作品曾出現在其他品牌的威士忌，但使用「甜型加烈蘋果酒桶」做過桶的想法，確實是目前世界上獨一無二的。

果園實驗(Orchard Experiment)的標籤配色使用了青翠鮮明綠，外包裝則點綴了成熟蘋果的紅，過桶的橡木桶是來自英國「Somerset Cider Brandy」這間酒廠的Somerset Pomona酒款橡木桶。

聞香：經典格蘭菲迪西洋梨風味中，帶有新鮮蘋果與細緻橡木氣息。

口感：入喉後熱帶水果風味逐漸轉化成甜美的奶油太妃糖、焦糖蘋果和優雅木質調性。
