Carefully selected two popular and distinctive gins from Kobe Distillery, “YAMA” and “UMI,” are presented in 200ml compact bottles as a limited-time Christmas gift box. Whether for gifting, exchanging presents, or personal enjoyment, you can savor the dual charm of Hyogo’s mountains and the Kobe sea breeze at once.
Kobe Distillery Gin – Mountain (KOBE GIN – YAMA)
Distilled using green tea from the famous Shizukaen tea garden in Kobe and four mountain-based ingredients from Hyogo Prefecture. The label depicts green hills to convey the fresh imagery of “mountains.”
Flavor profile: Front notes: refreshing citrus of yuzu
Middle notes: aroma of shiso leaves and natural sweetness of green tea
Aftertaste: slightly spicy stimulation from Arima pepper and juniper, blended with woody camphor notes and yuzu fragrance
Kobe Distillery Gin – Sea (KOBE GIN – UMI)
Distilled with katsuobushi from the longtime Taisho-era store “Kanei” and Kobe specialty fish (tamagushi-uo), capturing the savory essence of Kobe’s harbor. The label features deep-sea blue jellyfish to symbolize the gentle taste of the sea. Flavor profile: Aroma: orange and herbal notes with a hint of sea salt
Palate: subtle sweetness of citrus, slight umami of dried bonito and fish, without any fishiness
Aftertaste: returns to the refreshing and gentle flavors reminiscent of herbs and sea breeze
