皇家禮炮源起為慶祝英國女皇伊莉莎白二世於1953年登基加冕所推出的紀念酒，並以皇家海軍鳴放21響禮炮的傳統精神命名，表達對皇室的極致禮讚。為了與伊莉莎白女皇冠冕上的珍貴紅、藍寶石及翡翠相互輝映，亦有源自十九世紀以前的傳統威士忌酒壺，獨特手工製作之紅、藍、綠三色珍藏瓷瓶。該酒款色澤呈現暗金琥珀色；充滿甜梅，杏仁軟糖及香草濃郁香氣；口感濃烈醇厚；味道則是撲鼻的雪利芳香，陳年橡木桶散發出濃郁的穩重口感搭配思貝賽區特有的花果味, 香氣持久，回甘於喉頭，令人難忘。

Royal Salute

靈感來自對傳統的熱情，天生對女王的敬意，以追求完美爲宗旨。 Royal Salute 的故事與其他威士忌不同。

1953年，年輕的伊麗莎白公主登上了王位。這一場合要求為女王進貢，於是用蘇格蘭高地最古老的釀酒廠Strathisla的威士忌釀造出一種精緻的混合酒。它以著名的Royal Salute 21命名，並由此開始了威士忌酒的故事。

為了與伊麗莎白女王冠冕上的珍貴紅寶石、藍寶石及翡翠相互輝映，皇家禮炮21年酒瓶的顏色亦有紅、藍、綠三色。皇家禮炮21年的由來源自英國皇家海軍的傳統，由於清理炮骸與重置彈藥相當費時，故卸除砲彈之舉可明白表示雙方皆無意開火攻擊，此後國際間協議決定，21響炮可表達彼此的善意，也成為兩國在海上互示尊重的最高表達。而後，當統治不列顛君主檢閱艦隊時，也以21響炮恭迎君臨，這就是皇家禮炮得名所以的由來。至今，皇家禮炮21年仍維持著奇在21年典藏酒類的市場領導品牌地位。出自於對威士忌的無比沉醉, chivas兄弟遍訪了歐美大陸,成為最早發現威士忌釀製秘密的先驅,他們體會到儲藏的橡木桶對於威士忌的口味有著重大的影響,而調和威士忌則是將幾種麥芽威士忌及穀物,混合一起味道更是美味,這是Chivas兄弟成為十九世紀調和威士忌的先驅者。
