Product Details

Venta del Puerto N°18 is the result of the meticulous work carried out in our best vineyards. Cabernet Sauvignon structure, Tempranillo balance, Syrah inspiration and Merlot roundness. The ageing of 18 months in French oak barrels and subsequent refinement in the bottle, have rounded off the final result: the winery's most personal wine.

VARIETIES

40% Tempranillo, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot and 10% Syrah.


TASTING

On view: Clean and transparent wine, with high colouring intensity, dark cherry red colour and cardinal rim, without showing tones of evolution, expressing its youth.

To the nose: Clean and intense aroma, highlighting powerful mineral notes (graphite) in the glass, ripe fruit on a balsamic background. In the stirred glass, notes of fruit in liqueur, smoky and cigar box notes, as well as roasted coffee and dark chocolate appear. A very complex wine with a perfectly assembled bouquet or bouquet of aromas.

Taste: On the palate it is very powerful, energetic, with a long journey. Presence of strong tannins, ripe and combined. Integrated acidity that confers freshness and highlights the notes of ripe fruit on a characteristic mineral background.

Final Sensation: Complex and intense restronasal, very pleasant and persistent aftertaste.

Food pairing: it goes perfectly with red meats, cured cheeses and stews.

Serving temperature: Serve between 14° and 16°C.
