Description
The GlenDronach Grandeur 28 Year Old Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky (Batch#011) is a 28-year-old single malt that was matured in a small number of oloroso sherry casks, specially selected by master blender Dr Rachel Barrie. Aromas of dark manuka honey, roasted almonds and walnuts, baked plums, ginger, freshly-ground coffee and old leather fill the nose, complemented by notes of black cherry, espresso, dark chocolate, liquorice, leather, walnuts and dried fruit throughout the palate and lingering in the finish.

The GlenDronach
Nestled in the valley of Forgue, deep in the East Highland hills, is The GlenDronach, one of the oldest distilleries in Scotland, creating the finest richly sherried single malts for nearly 200 years.
As was the case in 1826, The GlenDronach Distillery patiently matures its single malt whisky in superior quality sherry casks. Our distilling methods may be old-fashioned, but we prefer to look on them as handcrafted techniques created through nearly 200 years of tradition.
