Description

The word ‘Honmaru’ is derived from the Japanese word for the centre of something, indicating its importance, and the word ‘Tamahome’ glittering in gold on the side of the bottle refers to the ‘Tamahome’ technique that has been passed down for 14 generations, whereby highly distilled Tamahome is added back into the brewery's sake to create a more distinctive flavour and to test the brewer's skills. The flavour is fresh and sweet, the body is round and full, and the finish is spicy, giving a well-balanced overall impression.
