This is the first commemorative release from Mars Tsunuki distillery to Asian countries except Japan.

This single cask whisky, made with light peated malt and matured in bourbon barrels for about 3 years and 10 months,

is a quality whisky that shows all the basic elements of the whisky that the Tunuki distillery is aiming for.

This is a limited edition of 217 bottles, half of which will be distributed in Hong Kong and half in Singapore.

Mars Tsunuki Distillery

Mars Tsunuki Distillery , the southernmost whiskey distillery on the mainland , located in Kasedatsunuki , Minamisatsuma City, Kagoshima Prefecture . Blessed with a warm climate and high-quality water resources (Kuraokuyama spring water), Tsunuki is the birthplace of Hombo Shuzo. It has been more than 100 years since we started making shochu using the sweet potato, a special product that represents Satsuma, and we have been working on whiskey making in Tsunuki, where we know the water and climate of this area and convey the tradition of sake brewing to the present.
