Aroma: Dried fruit, brown sugar, maple syrup coming from barrel.

Palate: Round and sweet flavor like coconut and chocolate.

Conclusion: Slightly bitter, comfortable aftertaste.

This is a limited bottling of Cosmo, Mars Blended Malt Whisky, extra-seasoned in Manzanilla sherry casks that traveled far from Spain. It is soft on the palate, having rich aromas, such as dried fruits, brown sugar and maple syrup that came from the casks, along with a slight bitterness, coconut and chocolate flavors in harmony.

Surrounded by beautiful green forests at an altitude of 798m at the foot of Mt. Kisokoma in the Central Alps of Nagano Prefecture, the Mars Shinshu Distillery stands in the silence of clear air.

In 1985, Hombo Shuzo opened the Mars Shinshu Distillery at the foot of Mt. Kisokoma in the Central Alps of Nagano Prefecture at an altitude of 798m in order to realize the dream of "one day making genuine whiskey that makes the best use of the Japanese climate ."
