The Mars Shinshu Distillery stands in silence at 798 meters above sea level, with clear water gushing out from the foot of the Japanese Alps, Mt. Komagatake, and abundant nature.

"MARS MALTAGE Echizen (Cosmo) Malt Selection" is a malt whisky that expresses complexity and depth by vatting multiple malt raw wines of different types using a marth whisky blend technique.

It is characterized by its soft, soft texture and gentle afterglow, with a subtle smoky flavor and ripe fruit scent reminiscent of honey and caramel.

The product name "Kosumo" was named after "Kosumoyama," one of the mountains in the Central Alps.The label design is based on the image of the night sky looking up from the Mars Shinshu distillery at the foot of the Central Alps, under the name Cosmo, which reminds us of the universe.

Surrounded by beautiful green forests at an altitude of 798m at the foot of Mt. Kisokoma in the Central Alps of Nagano Prefecture, the Mars Shinshu Distillery stands in the silence of clear air.

In 1985, Hombo Shuzo opened the Mars Shinshu Distillery at the foot of Mt. Kisokoma in the Central Alps of Nagano Prefecture at an altitude of 798m in order to realize the dream of "one day making genuine whiskey that makes the best use of the Japanese climate ."
