This plum wine plum uses Uguisuku plum grown on the farm of Hitohito Fujioka, who is said to be a "plum cultivator" in Kamiyama-cho.Mr. Fujioka, who has won the top prize in the Kamiyama Umeboshi contest, is diligently growing plum trees.It is said that the pruning technique, which has been cultivated over 50 years, produces high-quality, large-grained plum nuts that are well bathed in sunlight.An official of Matsuura Brewery, the head family who visited Kamiyama-cho to buy plum, was so impressed when he saw the plum fruit that he thought, "What a beautiful plum!"
