Appearance:

Clear, golden amber.

Nose:

delicious aromas of tropical fruits, toasted almonds, freshly grated nutmeg and floral peat smoke.

Palate:

Lemon zest and aromatic fenugreek, apples caramelised in honey and cinnamon, and a dusting of cedar-smoked sweet paprika

Finish:

woody spices lingering, with just a hint of citrus oil in the heather-rich peat smoke.

WHEN YOU MAKE WHISKY, YOUR SENSE OF SCALE AND TIME WARP – IN OUR WORLD, OUR YOUNGEST KILN IS STILL ‘NEW’ AT JUST OVER 100 YEARS OLD, AND WE HAVE NO INTENTION OF REPLACING EITHER OF THEM ANY TIME SOON. IF YOU WANT TO MAKE AWARD-WINNING WHISKY, YOU HAVE TO APPRECIATE THAT SOMETIMES TRADITION DEFIES CONVENTION.
