This exquisite whisky comes from the historic cellars of the independent Glenfarclas  distillery and is aged exclusively in hand-selected sherry casks. 

This single malt whisky perfectly showcases the distinctive flavors of sherry. Rob Roy MacGregor was born in Scotland in 1671. He was a Scottish clan leader during the Enlightenment era, renowned as a fearless warrior and a skilled cattle trader, and he resisted corrupt landlords and the British government. 

Today, Rob Roy MacGregor remains a captivating historical figure in Scottish culture, symbolizing indomitable courage and unwavering fighting spirit. Known as the Scottish Robin Hood, his image is eternally preserved in works such as Daniel Defoe's "Highland Rogue" and Sir Walter Scott's "Rob Roy." This 1996 whisky is a tribute to this brave hero.
