Spice King Limited Edition, named after its complex, oily and herbaceous smoky spci malt whisky.

- Only 5000 bottles available.

Spice King Highland & Islay explores the romance between spice and citrus; lemon cake and custard are complemented by peppery dough and lavender smoke.

The initial aroma is confectionery sweet, with notes of frosting, strawberries and frothy candies. Oatcake, butterscotch and oak shavings add complex depth to the aroma, with plenty of lemon cake.

Palate is sweet and tart citrus flavours on the palate with lemony notes. Malty and peppery, dough-like flavours with elegant burnt vanilla notes of lavender, rosemary and thyme adding a complex smoky note, with a spiced finish of white pepper and herbal smoke

Wemyss Family Spirits

Wemyss is a family-run independent spirit merchant, a blended whisky brand that was only founded in 2005 and is still young, but no slouch when it comes to making spirits! The consultant for the selection was renowned whisky guru Charlie MacLean, author of “The Whisky Bible of Charles MacLean”, who also created the recipe for Wemyss blended malt whisky.

"The Wemyss family, who founded the Wemyss brand, have a deep connection to whisky, with many high quality fields in Fife, the barley growing region of Scotland, being the official supplier to many famous distilleries, and an ancestor, John Haig, building the first distillery on Wemyss land in the 19th century. The first distillery was built by John Haig on Wemyss land in the 19th century.

Wemyss Whisky is the family's “flavour adventure”.
