This single malt was made at diminutive Perthshire distillery Edradour, where it makes robust whisky that stands up well to aging in sherry casks. You can expect notes of toffee-apples, orange peels, medjool days and caramel on the palate, underpinned by soft stewed fruit.

Nose

The nose is intensely aromatic, with layers of dried fruits such as raisins, dates, and figs, complemented by notes of rich dark chocolate, old leather, and polished wood. The sherry influence brings forward a deep sweetness with hints of molasses, spice, and a touch of espresso, creating a complex and inviting bouquet.

Palate

On the palate, this whisky is full-bodied and luxurious, offering a rich tapestry of flavors. The initial sweetness of sherry-soaked fruits is beautifully balanced by notes of dark toffee, spiced nuts, and a hint of black pepper.
