With its exceptional geology and meticulous expertise, the Bonnie family strives for perfection every year, honouring the great history of Château Malartic-Lagravière.

Blend : Sauvignon 89% Sémillon 11%

Dates of Harvests : Sauvignon (September 15 to 24), Sémillon (September 17 to 21)

Classified Growth of Graves in red and white : Pessac-Léognan Appellation (A.O.C.)

Geology : Günzian well-drained gravels and clay gravels on shelly limestone and clay subsoil

Grape varieties : 78% Sauvignon – 22% Sémillon

Ageing : On lees, bâtonnage in French oak barrels (Bordeaux barrels, burgundy “Pièces”, 500 liters “futs” barrels). 50% new oak.

Ageing period : 14 months

Château Malartic-Lagravière

Having enjoyed an excellent reputation from the beginning of the nineteenth century, Château Malartic-Lagravière is one of only six properties to be classified in both red and white wines in the 1953 Graves classification.

Since its creation in the 18th century, only four families have succeeded one another in Malartic. The taste for adventure still runs in the veins of the men and women in charge of its destiny.
