Saké japonais Born Junmaï 55, sec aux arômes subtils - Midorinoshima

Flavor: Exudes the unique, mellow aroma of matured sake, with a smooth texture, gentle rice flavor, and a lingering finish.

Pairing: Best enjoyed chilled with seafood, sushi, or sashimi.

This sake was originally a special brew created by the brewery to celebrate the birth of Princess Aiko of the Japanese Imperial Family, and it is also served by the Japanese Imperial Family at state banquets to honor important guests. The flavor of this ginjo sake offers a steady aroma with a hint of slight bitterness reminiscent of grapes and yuzu. The brewery used Yamada Nishiki rice, polished to 50%, and the sake is matured for a year under zero-degree storage. It is the perfect introductory sake for savoring "Bon."
