Description

Blended from 35 carefully selected malt and grain whiskies by master distillers, this pale golden whisky boasts citrus notes, intense aromas of grain and biscuit, and a hint of peat. On the palate, Black & White offers flavors of sugary dried fruit, young oak, vanilla, caramel, and lemon. The finish is short, with a subtle honey sweetness. Together, these notes create Black & White's unique character, resulting in a distinctly different Scotch whisky experience. Compared to other brands, it is crisper, sweeter, and possesses a more unique and fragrant aroma.

James Buchanan, a renowned pioneer in the history of Scotch whisky, founded James Buchanan & Co. in London in 1884, launching his whisky business. In 1885, he became the sole whisky supplier to the British Parliament, and due to its exceptional quality, he became the first whisky brand to be appointed by the British Royal Family in 1899.

Because the original packaging of the whisky was black bottles with white labels, it was often affectionately known as Black & White. This name was officially adopted in 1904, and the trademark image was later changed to a black and white Scottish Highland dog, registered in 1906 and still used today.

Black & White whisky is now a prestigious brand under the Diageo Group.
