Beluga Noble Russian Vodka 700ml

A classic Russian vodka, clean and crisp with a little bit of grain flavour. Perfect for drinking straight, as is the Russian way, Beluga has become a huge word-of-mouth success story since first pitching up on these shores in 2009. Beluga is made, unusually, with barley malt spirit, and is very lightly flavoured with honey and extracts of oat and milk thistle to deliver an exceptionally smooth finish.

Storage: Avoid light, air, and heat. Keep sealed in a cool, dry place.

Drinking Russian vodka is a structured social ritual, not a race to the bottom of the bottle. To experience Beluga at its finest, follow the authentic Russian way:

Chilled, Not Frozen: Keep your bottle in the fridge, not the freezer. Deep freezing kills the subtle honey and barley malt notes that make Beluga special.
The Right Glass: Serve in small 50ml shot glasses called Ryumki.
Never Drink Without a Toast: Every round requires a toast. The host begins, followed by guests. (Note: The third toast is traditionally dedicated to those who have passed away—glasses are never clinked during this round.)
Exhale and Knock It Back: Exhale sharply before taking the shot, then drink it in one fluid motion. Never sip it like a cocktail.
Pair with Zakuski (Chasers): Chase shots with savory food rather than soft drinks. Traditional Zakuski includes dark rye bread, pickles, salted herring, or cured pork fat (Salo) to complement the alcohol.
Keep Empty Bottles Off the Table: Leaving an empty bottle on the table is considered bad luck in Russian tradition—place it on the floor immediately once finished.
