At Aberlour, they believe in substance over style. Their whiskies are born of craftsmanship, passion and knowledge passed down through generations.

Born in Speyside, Aberlour, A'bunadh is made with Ben Rinnes and local spring water from the farmland near the Aberlour distillery. A'bunadh means “original” in Gaelic, as the distillery produces each bottle just as it did 100 years ago: in batches, without condensation.

The 76th batch of A'Bunadh from Aberlour! This expression is famous for its particularly intense flavor, due to the maturation of the Oloroso sherry casks in Spain and the strength of the bottling - this batch has a high ABV of 63.1%.

All our single malts are made with the best local ingredients of barley and soft water from nearby mountain, Ben Rinnes. Our expertly crafted new spirit is usually matured for a minimum of 12 years both in the finest hand-picked Oloroso Sherry butts and American Oak barrels. It’s this double cask maturation which subtly brings together the characteristics of each cask to create a truly rich and rewardingly complex range of single malts.
